Evje, where the light gives the colors

This photo have i called "Nipili Blues", not because of the blue color, but because I was singing on my way home from this morning walk, where I got this picture.  There is many photographers that have inspired me, but most is those that are able to catch the variations in the shadows, that you see I was able to here.

Evje is located in the middle of the southern Norway, in the lower part of Setesdal, which is the valley going up from Kristiansand, to Haukeli that connect the southern Norway to both west and east. But, aslo the shortcut between Arendal and Stavanger passing by here, so Evje has become a center for trade and small industry.

Because of the location in a valley, the surroundings is mountains and cliffs, and with only a short ride by car, you get up to the highlands where I have build a cottage or "hytte" as we call it in norwegian. And, where the pictures that I will publish now are taken.

When I first come here, I did not immediately understood why I become so attracted, but I soon discovered the light, which gives the colors which you will find im my pictures.
